Before I Was: Family Photos, 1960-1975

While rummaging through my parents' garage, I found a stack of slide images in a yellowed plastic bag. When I showed them to my father, he had no recollection of them being stored there. When I played the scanned versions back for him, dad was overcome with emotions at seeing places, people, and objects he had long forgotten.

I share these somewhat out of a sense of enigmatic nostalgia for people to whom I am connected by nature and history, yet I scarcely (or never) knew.
