Believers call God their Father because the same Spirit who formed Christ’s human nature also gives us new birth. From this new life, we live new lives of gratitude and holiness.

Relating to God as our adoptive Father means trusting that we’ve been chosen to participate in his loving family, to be cared for as his children, and that we have a share in the inheritance which belongs to his natural Son, Jesus Christ.
