For over 10 years, I photographed weddings, portraits, and commercial events for a living. This work brought me to over thirty States, as well as many countries. It was something I did and enjoyed, but always in service to my real ambition, which from childhood has been to teach and preach the Christian faith.

In 2013, I shot my last wedding and said goodbye to Michael-the-photographer. This page is something of a memorial to my former vocation. But I will always have deep gratitude for the people and experiences which professional photography afforded.
